My Funded Futures review: fees, rules and all-in cost
Every figure on this page is read from My Funded Futures's own site and dated line by line. Last checked: August 18, 2026.

Is My Funded Futures the right choice?
My Funded Futures does two things few firms do together: it states the activation fee at zero on every size — a published amount, confirmed both by the FAQ and by the site's own pricing feed, not a line left blank — and it keeps an end-of-day evaluation drawdown, recalculated on the closing balance. In exchange, the evaluation does not have a price: it has a monthly rate, and an unpriced data line is added once you are funded. What the page shows is therefore a floor for the first month, not what you will pay in total.
That switch changes how the tables below should be read entirely. At a one-off-payment firm, failing costs you a reset; here, failing costs a reset and the months already consumed — and on the larger sizes the reset is billed at the exact price of one month's subscription. The good side: the subscription is bounded by the evaluation and stops when you pass. The real variable is therefore not the headline price but your duration, and it appears on no pricing page — which is precisely what the all-in cost calculator asks you to state. Beware the shortcut, though: going fast does not turn this model into a cheap offer, it limits the damage.
That leaves one hole, and it is the only gap confirmed on the firm's side: data feed fees exist as a billable line item in the funded phase — a dedicated payment endpoint, a “Market Data Agreement” to sign — without any amount being published. The line is therefore treated as a fee that is due whose amount remains unknown: that is why every total shown below carries a “≥” and is not a price but a floor. Nothing public says who pays it, or how much, or under what condition — and presuming it optional would amount to taking it out of the bill without the firm ever having described it that way. You will have no way of learning the amount before you are funded. That point, and that point alone, is what weighs on the firm's transparency score in the comparison.
Strengths
- The funded account's activation fee is stated at zero on every size, and the amount is published as such, confirmed twice rather than once — that is what separates a verifiable “free” from plain silence on the most opaque line item in the sector.
- The evaluation drawdown is end-of-day at every size: it is recalculated on the closing balance, so a spike of unrealised profit you never banked does not move your loss threshold.
- No consistency rule during the evaluation on the Rapid plan, and the firm says so explicitly: a single day carrying most of the profit does not disqualify the pass.
- The subscription is bounded by the evaluation phase: passing stops the meter instead of moving it to a monthly line on the funded account.
- The payout split is stated plainly — 90/10 — and carried through as-is into the rules table: a parameter you can hold them to, rather than a figure you have to ask support for. The wait before the first payout, on the other hand, was not recorded on this pass: the corresponding line in the table stays empty, and that gap is ours.
Watch out for
- Data feed fees are a billable line item whose amount is not published, and it lands in the funded phase — the one where you have profits at stake rather than a signup fee.
- A data feed line item does genuinely exist — a data agreement has to be signed — but the firm publishes neither its amount nor its trigger. It is therefore counted as a fee that is due, which makes the total on this page a floor and not a price: presuming it conditional would take it out of the calculation without a shred of evidence.
- The drawdown changes nature between the two phases: end-of-day during the evaluation, trailing once funded — you choose the firm on the predictable parameter and you trade the other one (what trailing means in practice).
- The price of a reset does not appear in the visible text of the pricing page: it had to be read in the pricing feed that page loads, and on the larger sizes it equals exactly one month's subscription.
- The promo code is displayed on every tile with no announced end date, but nothing says whether it applies to each month of the subscription or only to the first — on a monthly plan, that is the difference between a half-price evaluation and a discounted first month.
Who it suits
This model rewards speed of execution, not patience. It suits the trader who already has a settled method, who takes enough trades to close out an evaluation in a few weeks, and who wants a predictable drawdown while testing themselves without discovering an activation bill on arrival. It suits three profiles poorly: the one who trades only a few times a month, because the subscription bills the calendar and not the activity; the one who likes keeping an account open “just in case”, for the same reason; and the one who needs to know their total cost to the dollar before paying, because the data feed line rules that out. Finally, if the predictable drawdown is your main criterion, note that it only holds for the evaluation: it is in the funded phase, with money at stake, that it becomes trailing. Before deciding against a one-off-payment firm, put your own assumptions about duration and resets into the calculator — on this model, the comparison means nothing without them.
What are the trading rules at My Funded Futures?
The starting point is that the evaluation is paid for monthly on nine of the ten plans — the tenth, Rapid EOD, is a one-off $157 payment and therefore escapes everything that follows. Two practical consequences for the others. First, the total depends on a variable that appears on no pricing page: how long you take. Second, the ranking against a one-off-payment firm flips on that same variable — a subscription collects little on an evaluation closed out quickly, and grows mechanically as soon as it drags on (the full arithmetic). The reference scenario used below fixes a duration and a reset so that comparison between firms is possible; it does not claim to be yours.
The drawdown deserves reading twice, because it is not the same on both sides. During the evaluation it is end-of-day: the threshold is recalculated on the closing balance, which makes the next day's room computable that same evening. Once funded, it becomes trailing: it follows the highs reached, including unrealised profit never banked. A trade that rises then falls back has therefore raised your threshold permanently. In practice, the habits that get you through the evaluation — letting it run, giving yourself room — are exactly the ones that cost you the funded account. Both notions are defined in the glossary. Note too that the payout model is progressive: the first payout opens capped access that loosens afterwards, not full access to your profits. The wait before that first payout, on the other hand, is not in our record — the rules table leaves it blank rather than putting forward a figure nothing confirms.
On fees, the firm does one rare thing and one awkward thing. The rare one: activation is stated at zero and that zero is published, confirmed by the FAQ as by the pricing feed — the line therefore appears with a figure in the detail table, and at zero it simply drops out of the bill. The awkward one: the price of a reset cannot be read in the text of the page, only in the pricing feed it loads — and on the larger sizes it coincides exactly with one month's subscription. A failure therefore does not reset the meter, it restarts it at full price, on information the buyer does not see before paying.
A last word on the “what the firm does not publish” section that follows, because it holds a single line and it is worth knowing what that brevity is worth. That gap is confirmed on the firm's side: the amount of the data feed fees, recorded as a line item that genuinely exists, with no figure. What you might think is missing alongside it is not: the six platforms, the rule applying through economic releases, the official position on microscalping and the profit target of all four sizes all appear in the tables below, so the Target column of the comparison is full for this firm and no score point is deducted on our account. One cell there stays empty, the wait before the first payout, and that one is indeed a limit of our record, not an accusation. The transparency points the firm loses are therefore all lost in the same place: the one fee it announces without publishing its amount. Where we have not verified, we prefer to show the hole rather than fill it with an estimate.
